2007 Columbia Valley Syrah

SOLD OUT!

This 100% Syrah, aged in neutral French barrels for 15 months, shows the true character of this varietal. Its dense plum/ruby/purple color is followed by a rich, sumptuous bouquet of crushed dried flowers, sweet black cherry and blackberry fruit, a voluptuous mouthfeel, broad, deep, concentrated flavors, and unbelievable purity, depth, richness, freshness, and vibrancy (a hallmark of this special vintage). Accessible and palate saturating, but never heavy or overbearing, this amazing wine should drink well for the next 10 or more years.

2009 Estate Viognier

SOLD OUT! This Viognier is a clean, straightforward wine. Fermented in neutral oak allowing the beautiful bouquet and fruit character of the wine to shine through. It opens with a strong orange blossom that develops into lush peach and pineapple with time. These aromas complement the wine's crisp balanced acidity and exquisite fruit on the palate. As the aromas lift, they mingle with apple, apricot, hints of citrus, and honey. The rich creaminess creates a mouthfeel that frames the entire lengthy finish. This dry, elegant and concentrated Viognier will drink well for 2 to 4 years. We suggest pairing with a classic dish like roast turkey, or something as novel as spicy maguro sushi. Serve well chilled.
